Lempos šone yra valdymo pultas su šviesos jutikliu. Esant silpnam apšvietimui, kurio nepakanka skaitymui, indikatorius nusidažo raudonai, perspėdamas, kad būtina reguliuoti šviesos ryškumą ir temperatūrą, kad nepakenktumėte regėjimui.
Esant prastam apšvietimui, indikatorius tampa raudonas.
Kai pakanka šviesos, indikatorius užsidega žaliai.
